4. User Responsibilities

As a user of Rexime, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your resume
  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes

You acknowledge and agree that you are entirely responsible for how your resume is used, distributed, and presented to potential employers or other third parties.

5. Account Creation

If Rexime requires account creation, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
  • Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate conduct.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Platform Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Rexime platform, including but not limited to:

  • Source code, software, and algorithms
  • User interface design and visual elements
  • Branding, logos, trademarks, and service marks
  • Templates, layouts, and design frameworks
  • Documentation and instructional materials

are owned exclusively by the developer and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. No rights or licenses are granted to users except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

6.2 User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using Rexime, including your resume text, personal information, and uploaded materials. However, by using the Service, you grant Rexime a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6.3 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Rexime platform
  • Use Rexime branding, logos, or trademarks without prior written consent
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from the Service

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

The developer, owner, and operators of Rexime, along with their affiliates, employees, contractors, and agents, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Employment-related consequences, including but not limited to job rejections, lost opportunities, interview failures, or career setbacks
  • Errors, inaccuracies, or formatting issues in resumes created using the Service
  • Technical failures, service interruptions, or data loss
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Third-party actions or omissions, including employer responses to your resume

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

10. No Warranty Disclaimer

  • We make no representations about the quality, effectiveness, or success rate of resumes created using the platform
  • Your use of the Service is entirely at your own risk

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer, owner, and operators of Rexime, along with their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and licensors, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Content you create, upload, or share using Rexime
  • Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of third parties
  • Any consequences arising from the use of resumes created on the platform, including employment-related outcomes
  • Any disputes with employers, recruiters, or other third parties related to your resume

This indemnification obligation shall survive termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.

12. Donations

Rexime offers users the option to make voluntary donations to support the development and maintenance of the platform.

By making a donation, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Donations are completely voluntary and optional
  • Donations are non-refundable under any circumstances
  • Donations do not entitle you to additional features, services, or benefits unless explicitly stated
  • Donations do not create any contractual obligation or partnership relationship
  • We reserve the right to use donations at our sole discretion for platform development, maintenance, or operational purposes
  • You will not receive goods, services, or consideration in exchange for donations beyond access to the standard Service

Donations are considered final contributions and cannot be reversed, refunded, or charged back except as required by applicable law.

13. Modifications to Service or Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without notice or liability
